Qubiqa A/S receives EcoVadis Gold Medal
Qubiqa A/S received a Gold Medal in EcoVadis' sustainability ranking.
EcoVadis is a leading independent provider of sustainability impact assessments and information, creating a global network of more than 90,000 rated companies. The EcoVadis ranking evaluates companies' performance in four main areas: environment, ethics, human and labour rights, and sustainable procurement.
CEO Morten Seeberg says: “We are all proud and excited. Qubiqa A/S received a Bronze Medal last year, and we had hoped to retain this or advance to Silver. However, our efforts during the fiscal year 2022/2023 increased our overall performance score to 73/100 points, thus placing Qubiqa in the top 5 per cent of companies assessed by EcoVadis and the top 1 % of companies in our industry category.
The EcoVadis Gold Medal is an external recognition of Qubiqa’s commitment to take measures with positive impact in areas such as environment and energy, health and safety, responsible supply chain management, etc. It also meets a need for documenting our commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, which our stakeholders are increasingly demanding. However, we must not rest on our laurels. We are on a long journey to continuously improve and contribute to a more sustainable future. We now set out to have our subsidiaries in Denmark and Poland included in the EcoVadis rating.
